Description
Originally called Leucosia. The new build of Blender finally has Volume support of Cycles. I gave the atmosphere a density gradient and shrunk the light source for sharper shadows.I will be moving onto moons next.
Vanadis is a Mini-Neptune, at 27,546km wide and 26,844km tall. Trace amounts of methane contribute to the planet's aquamarine colors, but a lot of the blue color comes from rayleigh scattering. The rings are composed of water ice stained with hydrocarbons. Of 27 moons, only two are significantly large: Gimli, whose cryovolcanism is a contributor to a diffuse outer ring, and RagnarΓΆk, a large ice moon that has a subsurface ocean and a thick nitrogen atmosphere. Their 2:1 orbital resonance produces large quantities of tidal heating.

Has a Neptunian feel. Judging by the reflected light, must be lots of methane in that atmosphere (or nitrogen?).

It is a Neptunian type planet. The hue is caused by methane.
Thanks for the fav
