Wow, so this is my first disney piece since my works were deleted. I really liked the steampunk theme, as did many others, so I decided to start there. I'm sure Ariel would be facinated by a steampunk world
(in saying that, she wouldn't really fit into it 
)I had fun with this piece. It is the first of many to come. I'm on hols, so hopefully I can get a few disney pics up!

A suggestion: If you really want to make it steampunk, make the tail out of gears and felt. Remeber, it's mechanical.

Considering that a mermaid's tail is supposed to be part of a carbon based life form, I think an organic tail for Ariel is much better.
