Very nice picture. I just love how the double track continues dead strait until you can't see anymore. Definatly very symbolic and stuff. The yellow light really gives it a "good" (for lack of a better word) look (good being the opposite of evil, that kind of "good")
Anyway all this rambling to say that its a very nice picture.

I almost get emotional staring into the distance of this picture, it's truly beautiful - it looks familiar in some strange way, as if I could relate to it personally. Perhaps that's because we find beauty in those things that we value. I ramble

But as a beginner photographer, I find your work very inspiring.

Wow, I think this is great!
We had to try to draw something at this kind of angle in my old art class,
She [my teacher] didn't like me so much and told me it wasn't very good,
so I got back at her by drawing a cemetary at an angle! :]

that was random, I'm sorry, I still love this picture though!!

I like the... pattern, I guess. Dunno quite what to call it. The way the sky seems to be pointing in a downward V and the tracks point in an upward V. Favness!

anUnsuccessfulBridge [2007-03-05 03:40:26 +0000 UTC]

did you use a filter to get the sky like that? because I would think you'd have to underexpose to get the clouds so nicely, but the ground doesn't look like you did.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hellfirediva In reply to anUnsuccessfulBridge [2007-03-05 03:43:01 +0000 UTC]

It is underexposed because I had the problem with too much sun still coming through the clouds. The filter that was on that lens at that time was rather an accident and I am not sure if that had any impact on the outcome. I had a CP filter on the lens and I noticed it too late , but maybe that was good !

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

anUnsuccessfulBridge In reply to hellfirediva [2007-03-05 04:21:29 +0000 UTC]

yeah, definately, because to get that much depth of field on the ground along with such an underexposed sky is a work of art in itself.

I first was a bit upset about myself but when I saw the outcome I was like bad luck turned into good luck
