I almost stepped on this tiny pretty mushroom. It must have just popped because it was so tiny and no bugs have started eating wholes into it. Sorry I do not know the name of this mushroom.

Beautiful. I love mushrooms too. Looks like an amanita muscaria. Was it this orange color or red?

it is Amanita Muscaria, one of the Amanita famaily of mushrooms. wonderful photo of this one just coming out of its button stage.

This is one of the best macro shots I've seen on DA! The dark background really makes the subject stand out.

Thank you very much. Even though I used a macro lens for this one, does not really make it a macro, therefore I did choose the Nature Galley for it. The mushroom was tiny but I would say it was like 6 or 7 cm and so no macro.

I forgot the name , some people told me , hmm
I am not sure if they grow all over the world but I have
seen them in the US and in Europe.
