I feel insignificant, like so many stars admired but never really seen.  No one knows my story nor do they care.  Disappearing for all time has never been so tempting as now.  I know love but am still unsure of hate; the feeling is ugly and undesirable inside my chest.  Sick uncontrolled panic takes over and it doesn't make sense.  Do not fear for me because I now know Death is not a solution.  Perhaps this all is nonsensical; let's pretend we are somewhere else.
So many say problems have to exist, that they are to be accepted.  I question that statement.  Imagine a better life, with hope never running out and hatred well in the past and forgotten.  I am not mad; I can feel the impending possibility within myself.  I'm sure others feel it as well.  Why do we live in fear and hatred when love and compassion are the other options?  I do not perceive how it is within our very nature to to hurt one another.  And my beliefs do not spur from ignorance; I am completely aware of the world's ugliness and the people's disregard for everything but themselves.  My convictions are simply based on what I know could be possible if only we were not so very stubborn and ignorant.
We truly do live in a material world, and what a shame it is because true beauty is not manufactured.  Lift your face to the sky above, then to the ground below.  A true miracle is what one observes.  Nature and all of its components that give us breath, give us life.  How can so many cast this miracle aside?  Destroying Life day to day, not loving and cherishing all that nourishes their bodies and souls.  It is fine to eat meat and flesh if one is sure to appreciate the gift of food.  Let us continue our lives with a higher sense of awareness.
