The top of the axe head is interesting.
It looks somewhat different, was that intentional, or is that just change in the grain ?

You know this is quite a big boy, so it was forged of tho separate damascus billet, which was than forged together, thus further randomizing the pattern, which was random in the first place

Perhaps you could leave something in the frame to act as a scale ?
