TUMBLR - TWITTERFinally some Disgaea fan art!
now that i am on break i can finally focus on things such as art and video games
yay!
This was heavily inspired by the second episode of Makai Senki Disgaea The Anime
when Laharl receives an award that wasn't so great from Flonne
i tried to keep the wings as cartoony as possible
more to resemble the wings seen in the game when Flonne uses her Divine Ray attack
sketched on paper
done in Photoshop CS3
all done by me with my trusty tablet

Except for Adell and Rozalin, cause Adell is a stupid bloke, and Rpozalin creeps me out after the Disgaea 2 ending (an old guy in a body of a teenage girl...yuck)

Well, he could've picked a better body for himself... now it reminds me of M.Bison who made Cammy to be his substitute body >.<

Great job. The colors look clean and have a nice contrast. At first glance, the brushes seems crisp, but when one looks closer, it has more of a pastel/charcoal feel.
The shirt detail is also done well, but seems to be lacking a shadow cast by her arms.
Overall it's a great drawing.

that cast shadow is there but it's a little light
i think i should have made it a little darker
but i didn't want it too be too dark because i wanted a soft and glowy atomosphere to the piece
making those shadows stronger would have made the piece "rough" in a sense.
