hand used as reference [link]The title defines both the hand and the little guy
the little guy is being pulled apart from his heart, taking his uniqueness away therefore being left "Selfless"
and the hand has hearts hanging which represent different hearts from other people showing that she never had a personality of her own, making her "Selfless"
the real meaning of selfless is different
but i use it to represent someone without uniqueness or personality

I think I like your interpretation of the word better then what it really means. I always thought 'selfless' was an odd synonym for unselfish.
I like the simple, vector style. My favorite part is how you've drawn the figure--with his arms and legs dangling, showing that he's being suspended by the heart that's been pulled out of him. Creat concept, well executed
