Gotta Love Okami~! Although I'm so mad that the ending credits weren't in the Wii version so I could cry my eyes out even more after seeing the conclusion.

It did? As in the same one that played in the PS2 ver? As in the one with the song "Reset" and where Ammy walks through scenes from the game with Issun? I heard the ending credits got removed from the Wii ver because at the end it had the Clover Studios logo which had shut down after the PS2 ver got released and I didn't see it in my copy no matter how many times I finished the game...

Nah, you need the wiimote to use the brush for the game. The DS has it too though.
