Aaaand here I go again with the creative image titles...
So I just recently started watching Game of Thrones (better late than never, eh?) and also reading the books... this is some awesome stuff! It's just that now I am constantly afraid to get too attached to any characters, because they might just get killed in the next episode and... gah! The feelings!
Anyways, this is Daenerys Targaryen a.k.a. the Khaleesi, who is awesome and will hopefully be around for a while longer. Please.
Emilia Clarke, who plays her in the series is ridiculously gorgeous so I had to paint her. Changed her eye colour though, because in the books they are purple.
I painted this in GIMP and used this screencap as a reference.

She has fast become my FAVORITE GoT's Character. When i watch her in the show i almost feel like i am witnessing a Divine Being, she seems so much like a Goddess it is s Scary. This Render is absolutely perfect i feel like Khalessi is staring straight into my Soul such beauty i could certaintly serve her will. I hope she prevails and liberates the 7 Kingdoms as Queen.

i think this is perhaps the best of your artwork; it looks just like emilia, and the shadow is just amazing. i'm also just simply awed by her lips (how do you do them?!!!!!!!!!)

I do use them a lot, actually I use them for almost everything. I mainly use custom brushes for blending though, and for hair I sometimes use special hair brushes as well.

I got to tell you man, you are the FIRST one, who can make violet eyes...look realistic!
They are not just 'purple', the iris is blue-purple and more violet when comming to the pupil. Good work mate!! Keep it up!

I do use GIMP! Something is weird with it and my stylus though!! When I am on the brush tool, there are two cursors suddenly, and every time I try to paint, the second cursor goes and clicks something!
What version do you have?

Well that is weird o.O maybe your tablet isn't fully compatible with GIMP? Or maybe something is wrong with the driver or settings? I have no idea really, but it does sound very annoying...
I use GIMP 2.6. I tried 2.8 once (which is, I think, the current version) but it annoyed me quickly and I went back to 2.6. Which one do you use?

Really awesome job, here. The only thing that gives it away that it isn't a photo is the overall softness - and even then, it's borderline. Beautiful work.
