Description
This is a commissioned assemblage piece for a friend's mother, who wanted to buy this , but I had promised it to a teacher and friend of mine. So, I set about making another one for her, this time with a more New England vibe.Cigar box, paperclay, roots, twine, snail shell, lace, antique book cover, antique bottles, cicada shell, red string, yellow rose petals, deer tooth, wooden stand, coral beans, paper.
I ended up having to change it after finding out that my friend's mother is terrified of insects, but I like the original and don't have photos of the redo (I took out the cicada and strings, and added a keyhole plate with strings on the other side), so this is what you get.
