It's not much that they dislike him as a character. Is more about the pr0nz being drawn/write about him with Shockwave. Which is ridiculous since Rapidshock is not the only oc that is being paired with

Gary-stuRapid: friends with everyone, bff with everyone, he's the center of attention, he's so Kawaii desu! Can do the impossible and has super awesome powers! And best of all he's the love interest of everyone!
Real Rapidshock: Still in development, includes his relationships and history (only have wrote a scrap bio), Only thing I have so far is his design and I'm not even yet happy with it, so far his personality is calm and collective but curious, it takes a long time for him to approach somebody. And I haven't actually officially paired him anyone, well I have a few times but just for crack and laughs.
didn't know what a Gary-stu was until somebody explained to me. And I was like "what? Really? When have I ever declare that?" But too makes me laugh that someone declare him a stu based on somebody else's works, and even credit me for them! I drew this because I needed to laugh.

It's not his personality as much as being a known characters sibling who looks similar. I don't mind Rapid, cause i know he doesn't act like a gary-stu, but lots of people have done the 'sibling of this or that character' thing which is why it gets the gary-stu labelling, but really, he's not that bad of a character, and it doesn't really matter what other people's opinions are of him in the end, cause if you have fun with him that's cool.
