we all make mistakes (but practice makes perfect), and your not the only one who dirties up the paper, we all do it one way or another, especially to those of us (im one) who have the 'resting hand on paper while drawing' sindrome cause we are tired or just wanna focus only on drawing.
creating art makes the world better and more beautiful (cant tell you how it does, but trust me, it does), so continue doing stuff.

this is just a personal opinion but i really like it in step 14 when its darker

you can use ctr + L in Photoshop to make it darker
