This is how I mostly work, for "proportions" I use "crosses"

No mention made of proportions at all. That's the most important step in making the body look right.Β
Look for a proportion guide, not this "here's a shape, here's another, copy them down" stuff. Sorry to rag on your work, but this isn't a very helpful tutorial.Β

This tutorial is so easy to understand and the examples are broken down into easy to understand piece. Going to use this as my go to until I can get them from memory.

Your method helped me with feet and I've never had much trouble with hands or legs...but toes.... All my characters wear shoes or socks because of this nemesisΒ
