There's a lot of arguing going on on this comment board, and it's rather silly.
Firstly, this stamp is entirely directed towards the stereotypical emo, people who get $20/week allowances and still whine they can't afford a pair of cheap monday jeans.
This is NOT, NOT, NOTTTTT about people who just lost a parent/sibling/friend and are distraught.
This is NOT about people who suffer from the disease depression.
This is basically not directed towards people who are reasonably upset.
This is about pointless whining.
So please don't waste your or my time commenting on how I suck or I am sick.
And if someone leaves a comment you don't like, plese just refrain from replying and leave it, just agree to disagree.
This all being said, I DO NOT CONDONE actually finding a stick and beating someone with it, a person of any nature.
That is sick.

I did read it. I read it twice. But thats not what people see when they see the stamp. They see what the stamp says.
I understand that this is just a joke, and that the artist doesn't really want to beat people, but some people do, and this gives them the opurtunity to flaunt that, which I think is wrong and sick.

So, because Wal*Mart keeps axes out in the open, you think they're wrong and sick because they're giving violent people the chance to butcher people like an old swing song (Butcher Pete, I believe it was called.) Following your line of logic, of course.
So this stamp, being a joke, gives violent, possibly antisocial people, a chance to flaunt their lack of a super ego and you think it's wrong and sick that this stamp is giving them a chance to do that when the uploader never intended for that?
Look, people are GOING to take things out of context, that can't be helped. You seem to be holding Andrewguy responsible for how other people use this due to their thought-process? That's not fair, is it?

Actually no. Axes have a practical purpose, which this stamp doesn't.
Whilst the artist may not be a violent person, this stamp gives a violent message towards a particular group in society and also allows people to agree with this message and display it.

This stamp is for humour.
The particular group of society cuts themselves because their mum wouldn't buy them that 360 for their birthday. That group is already violent. Mind you, I'm speaking of the kids who don't have ANY reason to harm themselves and they insist upon it because they "Feel the darkness swallowing them".
It can be taken seriously and it can be taken as a joke. That variation of taking things out of context is what I meant.
I wouldn't really call this prejudice. Emos are annoying as fuck and, to me, that's a good reason to want to throw a rock at them (We don't need more melodramatic whingers, kthx.)
Strongly disliking an area of society without just grounds is prejudice. Disliking an area of society because they're forever doomed to walk through life with the back of the hand stapled to their forehead; they won't shut up about the little things; they're always acting so "deep"; and because they are all "bisexual" (at least the guys are)is, to me, a good reason to develop a twitch.
Is that prejudice? Not at all. Not to me anyway. If you can explain why you think it so prejudiced, go right ahead.

Ok I will ignore these other peoples comments and just speak directly to the artist. I didn't like the stamp, but thank you very much for explaining that out^_^. at first it made me really upset until i read your artist comments. I was very close o my mom and she committed suicide because she is a sensitive and we got in a fight because my dad used to abuse me and ever since I have suffered from serious depression and ive been labled by others as emo. Don't worry, stereotypical emo kids will hit themselves with the stick. Haha, I have issues...I mean people call me emo all the time because of how I dress(like I care...), not to mention I'm a wimp, but I hate it when people cry for for no freaking reason(Admittedly, I do sometimes...well, not for no reason, just some stupid reason...on my bad days at least, my brain has issues...) Basically, the stereotypical versions of emo kids want to be depressed. Since they can't find anything to cry about, they pick stupid crap. "(sigh) I hate my life! No more! I couldn't afford those jeans at hot topic and now it is my time to go!"

Ah, this is perfect. It's not that I'm insensitive to those with clinical depression(I have it), I just like to laugh at the whiny little 'dark' and 'unique' and 'dead inside' kids.

I find it funny how many people are commenting on this angrily like it's a good thing to be a part of an incredibly obnoxious social group. I wasn't aware romanticizing depression, filling yourselves with pointless elitism, and generally being smug for no reason other than, "Oh look at me, I can flip my hair over my eye, I'm so cool and unique," was something to be proud of.
