Description
I took this shot from the southern slope of Mt. Shasta, as high as one can drive up. It was sunset, and at this elevation (something like 8,000 + feet), there was no sound, just air pressure. I call this "Veils", because the distant mountains look like a veil painting, a water color technique.
EDIT: Unnoticeable to the human eye, I changed the resolution so that you can download a 1024x768 wallpaper version, by request of Enjoy!

The mountains almost look like the furls and waves of an ocean that seems to go on forever...

Thank you so much! Well, the original is actually a whopping 3072 x 2304 (7.1 megapixel), so it was reduced by 75% to the size you see here. I can definitely make a wallpaper size submit... I'll fix it, and you can download it! Again, thanks bunches!
