Nulled, daily grind, in which we exchange our hellos, and
Deem our goodbyes as one in a million words.

My heart’s left lonely, as yours is too, merely
Envisioning an extroverted version of the lives we live,
Gainfully employing those quaint smiles and eager hand brushes, accordingly
Amplifying those three little words used so charily, so desperately;
Nighttime's moon-lit wishes were always our favorite.
