Description perhaps I've finally run
out of things to say

now i'm just a fly
throwing words in your way

like the kid playing ball
that was never invited,
just a bad shot and slow
but still can't be avoided

so bite off my letters
and make sure not to chew
I throw these words
to make a dent in you

but god hear me now-
you've never heard me at all
your daughter
your lover
your friend
is a stranger to us all

well, god doesn't actually need to be capitalized, since it's a common noun. if it was referring to the Christian "god," then it's a proper noun, and you capitalize. anyways, it's a style choice, so it doesn't matter : P

The last two stanzas are my favorite part! they become a satisfying sting that resonates.

p.s. I love how your poems read like lyrics, too. there's a great angst in these voices
