Description
they think I can fight;I must be good
to make them believe
there's no folding
no holding
no scolding in me
no falling out
of the order, this order
the skin that preserves
our unending disorder
they think I can fight;
so I must be good
I'm no good
I'm so good
but you think they can feel
a fighter on her knees
next to a vacant god who
can't even move the breeze
they think that I'm good
so maybe I'm fine
maybe I'm fine
just fucking fine
but I feel like a thief
coming to terms
with her crime
and no matter the hell
can't give back
the time
you people really think
I have any fight left?
I'll show you a fighter
who can't feel one last breath

I was reading this and all I could think about was my own personal struggle to continue after a struggle. The back and forth nature which I can only imagine, at least this is how I interpreted it, representing the conscious mental battle we all go through in a case like this. An absolutely magnificent piece of work in regards to capturing the human mind in a time of hardship; classy work.

thank you so much.
I enjoy hearing people's interpretations. It tells me things I didn't even know about myself, that meaning under the surface.

this is very lyrical, and makes me eager to hear your music. all the stanzas are broken up well, too. the fourth is definitely my favorite : )
