I should probably explain what a "Safe Place" sign is for, since you might not have that particular sign in France......
The "Safe Place" sign in the United States is placed on an establishment that is a member of "National Safe Place" - it creates a network of Safe Place locations — schools, fire stations, libraries, grocery and convenience stores, public transit, YMCAs and other appropriate public buildings – that display the yellow and black diamond-shaped Safe Place sign. These locations extend the doors of the youth service agency or emergency shelter throughout the community. Youth (runaways in particular) can easily access immediate help wherever they see this sign.
