Actually finished this one a few weeks ago with help from my father, before I finished my log pose . Now I'm all set for Fanime! For this, I really wanted to make it so that you could take it apart AND put it securely together, just like how Nami's is.

The following are the materials used and steps taken to create this, in case anyone is interested in trying it out themselves. ^^ Orrrr, I might take commissions for it if anyone is interested.

Materials:
-PVC pipe
-PVC pipe couplings (2)
-styrofoam/polystyrene balls
-acrylic paint (I mixed different blues together)
-black permanent marker
-clear varnish
-soldering iron
-saw
-sandpaper
-craft glue or any other strong construction-type glue

1. Measured the PVC pipe and made markers separating it in 3 sections. Sawed the 3 separate sections, then sanded the ends with the sandpaper to smooth it out.

2. Carefully made holes directly through the axis of the styrofoam/polystyrene balls using the soldering iron.

3. Glued the couplings in 2 of the balls ONLY (none in the top ball) and each of the pipe sections to a corresponding ball. Let it dry.

4. After mixing various acrylic blue paints to get just the right color, everything was painted (with each of the 3 sections still separate, of course). Had to wait for it to dry, then repainted several more coats. (I honestly should've done a better paint job though T^T)

5. Using the permanent black marker, drew the black line designs along the sides of the balls.

6. After EVERYTHING dried completely, all was coated with the clear varnish. Let that dry, and voila!
