Samus' suit radiates with energy, lighting the way as she enters the pitch black depths... but what challenges await her ahead?---
I've wanted to do some Metroid art for a while, it's been one of my favourite game series ever since first playing Super Metroid on the SNES and is still just as addictive and fun now as it was then, a timeless master piece in game design.

This picture just breathes awesomeness.
Immediately we see Samus, steeling herself. Something dangerous is approaching, but as this threat closes in; Samus begins to awaken a power from deep within... Meanwhile, the baby Metroid from behind is just in complete awe from watching that powerful aura glow off it's Momma.
There was definitely a clear-cut vision here as the simple, yet effective composition and immaculate coloring come together to form an illustration with personality!
I love how my attention was drawn to the center of the image, which then allowed for a subtle notification of that well-drawn Metroid.
However, as I was scanning this well-crafted piece I couldn't help but feel like the background wasn't quite holding up when compared to the quality you poured into the characters.
Overall though this was a fine piece, and it's definitely got some spunk.

Thanks for spending the time to Critique my work, I'd really love to go back a redo another Samus/Metroid piece at some point, definitely a character design I really love with alot of Nostalgia for me.
