Description
Colouring of a b&w picture of Roisin Murphy (ex- Moloko singer). That woman is a divine audio-visual phenomenon!In real life she has blond hair and captivating blue eyes, but I opted for red & green colouring respectively, because it looks so retro-funky that way
I'm not really satisfied with the way her skin colour turned out, but I am Photoshop challenged... Perhaps someday I'll add some detail to the jewelry on her dress. Perhaps...
I was lucky enough to have a Wacom tablet for this one, thanks again Duke!

Although, you could've done just as good a job with the mouse and the lasso tool (although using the tablet is definitely more fun...)
My only gripe with this is that it's too RGB-ish... Personally, I'd like a more homogenous palette but, still... pretty.

I actually think it's "RGB-ish" too and I was thinking of perhaps re-doing it in shades of a single colour with perhaps a 2nd colour for shadows, contour etc. Maybe overall yellow ochre hues and magenta respectively.
Or perhaps I'll aim for the big league and try to make it look like a Mucha painting, whom I've always adored. But I'll definately need to buy a tablet for that.
