Just a quick work.As you know there might be parallel universes or multiverses. The could have the shape of a multidimensional sphere in a hyperspace. (M-Theory)
This is my idea of that. Made with Maya and mental ray. I merged a lot of astronomical photographs and the Hubble Ultra Deep Field into one texture map.
No post-processing.

My Multiverse comprises just about ANYTHING except the Cthulhu Mythos. Not that I despise that or anything - it just does NOT fit.
Also I have hinted at realms BEYOND the Multiverse, Probing into THEM invites insanity !
