The part on the right is part of the old bridge, which was rebuilt several times, and was destroyed in WW2 as the Germans retreated across the Rhine. Picture of the original structure here: [link]

what the hell!! I disagree with you! The dark sky is used to help highlight the clouds which is a important part of the composition! Also the dark sky can be achieved with out effects!!!!! just a b&w contrast filter! I dont mind you sharing your opinion but do it in a respectful way that doesn't bash the artist who spent a lot of time on this piece!!!!!!!!
