Updated Reference:
Flower Skies is an energetic and adventurous, young mare with a positive personality. Her optimism makes her very friendly and social in any community.
Although she's eager to help or try new things, she tends to be very stubborn and difficult.
Skies is also known for 'acting before thinking' and being quite impulsive at times. Her hasty decisions often get her into unexpected trouble which, in her opinion, isn't a bad thing!
Sword fighting, crafting and exploring the world is what keeps her busy in a rather boring, traditional town she lives in.
Combat-training with her best friend 'Raido' is one of her favorite activities while 'girly tasks' like: cooking, gardening, cleaning, frequently irritate her.
There it is! At last! This piece was sitting on my PC for almost half a year now! D: Just about time to post it.... huh...
This is currently my most developed (and favorite ^^') original character I own.
I MUST straighten a common mistake - her nickname is NOT "Helmie" anymore. She now mainly goes as "Skies" or "Flower Skies".

Well, for a 'mascot' character 'Helmie' would be enough. I just didn't think that would be a good name. So I kept Helmie for myself and gave her Flower Skies.
This isn't a recent change actually. She was named Flower Skies not too long after I designed her :3

My helmet design is based on the Nordic Spangenhelms but it would be called differently (not sure how ^^'').
"Spangen" refers to the 'strips' connecting smaller metal plates that create the dome of the helmet. in short, Spangenhelm's have plates riveted together.
