Nah I tend to try and write about interesting ideas, situations or feelings I think of and try to write more intresting, more complex, thought requring lyrics-so in that sense its more like poetry-lol-

Yeh that's true "there is always a bad no matter how good you think something can be"-it's sad tho, but it's a sad world we live in
N i'm nt trying to complain about matters, or over emphasise negative things, it's just da way I write and I think it helps make ppl realise certain ideas which they overlook, or jus ideas which ppl all recognise but don't talk about e.g.regret etc.
I suppose that's right...-lol-

I am always a cheerful character, and its usually always the most cheerful whom have the most problems and depression in themselves...usually.
Reading your prose makes me understand what i think of myself and my life. It is inspiring and it creates a sense that there is always a bad no matter how good you think something can be.

its very expressive. i dislike depressing lyrics but you have struck a good balance here, nice one.

Yeh, I tend to write lyrics based on neagtive ideas: regret, being alone, not aspiring, the bad areas of life, losing love etc...I suppose I enjoi writing abt negative topics than really positive ones, not that i'm depressed but it's just the way I've always written: some of my stuff's more negative than others, but never really happy, but at the same time never really negative: I hate it when people write lyrics that are SO obvious, and really negative-jus pisses me of-shows a lack of imagination.
Altho I write abt negative stuff, I like to be a bit more cryptic, and not jus full out crap emo (I hate my life, it's shit, kill everything) don't get me wrong I love emos: I even dress slightly emo and listen to heavier music: but again like my muisc taste, I don't like full out boring, crap, screaming metal like: Chimera-lol- Instead I like something with a bit of taste, but heavyness and screaming doesn't bother me as long as it's used effectively and sparingly.

no no. but i have realized recently that everything and anything is how you make it, not how social groups define it. so in other words: when it comes to anything like music or fashion etc, judging shouldn't happen.

Me!? I'm in a band-play drums and write lyrics so yeah-lol-
And no, if you don't write your own stuff you shouldn't take the credit, rounding this off, basically I'm saying that if you are in a band you should try and write to the best of your ability and as creatively as possible so that you don't end up repeating what people have done before.
Even if you sound like another band, lyrically speaking you should put some effort into it- otherwise what’s the point of being called a singer or lyricist if your lyrics aren’t that creative. Anyone can say they can write lyrics- but people who some effort and thought into it can write good lyrics-you should treat lyrics and vocals as another instrument its just as important.
