Description
Most people get along fine with Elias, but they don't necessarily want to spend a longer stretch of time with him, as he can cross over from endearingly silly to aggravatingly obnoxious pretty quickly. One exception is Klara, who is kind of a bro, and when Elias teases her or makes stupid bets, she can throw it right back. This can sometimes result in ridiculous dares that neither will back down from, but mostly results in a lot of playful banter that turns into endless bickering. People usually just send them off to be annoying together somewhere else.

Then along came Tom, who is even better (or worse, depending on your POV) than Klara when it comes to keeping up with Elias. She still happily hangs out with them both, however, and though Tom is too handsome to be in this drawing, the terrible trio have teamed up to form the Gleesome Threesome in the upcoming Relay Endurance Race. Incidentally, Nadiyah and Benji will also be back to defend their victory from last year, though Gabe got bored and has swapped out with Miyo.

Featured horses here are not going to the relay, but since they're in the picture, they deserve a mention I suppose. Falkens Amazon, aka Manny, who is greying out quite nicely and also undergoing a bit of a redesign. Also, her younger half-sister Starlit Currents, aka Starlight, who is a cantankerous bother of a mare, but she'll behave for this drawing, because she's kind of afraid of Manny, who takes no crap and has kicked her butt a few times out in the pasture.

Been finished for quite a while, didn't bother taking a photo til today though. An experiment which I didn't do properly so it kinda failed. Decided to try lining in pen for the first time in forever, except I got lazy and just did a rough pencil sketch before lining. What I should have done was a proper pencil linework before tracing it over in pen. Globbing pen over a sketch that was basically approximate circles and sticks, not so great for anatomy. Also, turns out that particular pen smudges, so just... ignores the weird rough parts, it's colored-over whiteout. And some heavy digital editing on the background to fix random pen smears. You do not want to see the original of this thing <.<
