Well, being honest, I never liked Gohan's Ultimate form, there's no merit to it, just the script cheating the workout and using a ritual to make it overpowered.

Since my DBA timeline regards the FNF (the movie, not the anime tragedy) as a canon event, it has lost its ultimate state. Instead of following the easy path by redoing the ritual or as it happens in DBS where it recovers this state in a very strange way to tell the truth. I pursued the idea of him regaining full control of his occult powers by his own means.

After years of training at his own pace Son has found a way to use ssj as a catalyst to use its full potential, as a result this ssj variation has a brighter aspect. As his potential increases along his road, the current 40-year-old Gohan DBA is far superior to his ultimate Z version.

And what's the name of it? Well ... He didn't give one, but Pan does, she calls it Hyper Super Saiyan or just Hyper.

Bem, sendo muito sincero nunca gostei da forma mistica vulgo Ultimate do Gohan, não há mérito algum nela, apenas o roteiro dando uma trapaceada no treino e usando de um ritual pra faze-lo ficar overpower.
Como a minha timeline DBA considera o FNF (o filme, não a tragédia do anime) como evento cânon ele perdeu o estado ultimate. Ao invés de seguir o caminho fácil refazendo o ritual ou como rola em DBS onde ele recupera esse estado de um jeito bem estranho pra falar a verdade. Eu segui com a ideia dele recuperar o pleno controle dos seus poderes ocultos por meios próprios.

Depois de anos treinando no seu ritmo Son descobriu uma forma de usar o ssj como catalizador para usar todo seu potencial, como resultado essa variação de ssj possui um aspecto mais vivo. Como o potencial dele aumenta ao longo da sua via, o Gohan DBA atual com seus 40 anos é extremamente superior a sua versão ultimate do Z.
E qual o nome disso? Bem... Ele não deu um, mas a Pan sim, ela chama de Hyper Super Saiyajin ou só Hyper
