So, uh. I saw 's hipster Zim, and I really liked the idea and wanted to try it, too.

It's just like, hahaha, I could totally see Zim, in an attempt to blend in, becoming a hipster. For many reasons. One of them being that he's totally ridiculous (one of the most important hipster criterion.)

Second reason I can think of... Is that even on his own planet, he adapts like an outsider. He looks at the external traits of a civilization and mimicks/amplifies it, probably part of why he doesn't fit in on Irk. Our... culture puts a huge emphasis on originality, and with the hipster count rising... I could see Zim taking it to some extreme or another.

This isn't extreme though. This is just goofy. BUT HE IS ON HIS WAY DOWN THE PATH OF THE HIPSTER, FROM WHICH THERE IS NO RETURN. That bridge like. Spontaneously combusts, man.

Anyway, yes. Yes, he is playing a tissue box. REAL INSTRUMENTS ARE SO MAINSTREAM.
