I spent a little more time than usual on this painting. As you might notice by looking at my gallery, I like old-school, cheesy stuff... And here's another one that fits into my collection, hehe... At first I considered giving her a hammer, or a club, but then it might just seem like a mad nurse. By giving her a hairy fantasy sword it suddenly looses all common sense, which I like
Painted during 4 evening using Photoshop with a Wacom tablet. My girlfriend used as reference model.

I'm already circumcised, so there's no need for me, but I have a friend who REALLY needs it. He's also a huge fantasy geek, so a hot nurse holding Excalibur might make him hold still for just a few seconds.

Well, here's my seperate opinion then: Fantasy art shouldn't be that simple.
I mean, you cannot create fantasy art by simply putting a shiny sword in the hands of the same old "hot nurse" clishΓ©.
If you call that fantasy art, I think I would call it an insult to the people like Frank Frazetta and Gerald Brom.
I have nothing to say about your technique and coloring skills. You're really good at them. However, you don't have the essential items of fantasy art in this painting.
And your choice of concept is extremely lame. It's not enough to put a sword to every irrelavent (irrelavent with fantasy) picture to make it look original.
You should a make a better effort to create original fantasy concepts. I thought exactly the same things when I saw it in Exotique, well I still do. How about this for a seperate opinion?
