Something slightly different from me than usual. No tits or tentacles here
This painting was made for the current issue of ImagineFX, for the "Henning's 101: Composition" article. It's great fun writing this series of articles, and I also get to brush up my old and rusty theory skills as well.

Painted with Photoshop with a Wacom tablet, as usual. I used some basic torus shapes in 3D Studio Max as guides for the perspective of the circles.

Many Wipeout fans consider Wipeout XL (Wipeout 2097 outside the US) the best. Though I hear Wipeout Pure for the PSP is great. Unfortunately, I don't have a PSP so I can't vouch for that.

Indeedio, along with the golden rules of thirds for placements of vanishing points, circles for creating depth and direction, and placements of elements to sort out the size comparison... and other things
