Description

After climbing up the access tube for nice decks they found the Engineering section. A6 hacked the first access door by injecting more Nano probes into what appeared to be an access control pad. Ok A6, only one door to go and this one looks like its protecting something important. The access pad looked like it wanted a handprint, but again using the Nano probes to infect the control panel they were able to get the huge circular door to begin to open.

The probes took a while to do their work, which may have put them in jeopardy of being discovered. Once the entered the huge camber they quickly realized that this was the ships engineer room. The entire room appeared to be completely empty and there were several large display screens. A9 said to A6 we have to move quickly, even though this appears to be a fully automated system we may have tripped an alarm. A6 immediately began injecting some highly specialized Nanites into the system control panel. A6 needs to access the complete details and schematics for the massive energy drive. So much power, enough to drive the trans warp drive and the planet destroying Main Ion Plasma weapon system. You could feel the raw power this massive engine was providing. The entire room had a low continuous roar from the engine.

The Alliance has nothing like this and getting the data is critical to the entire Alliance and may be their only hope to withstand a potential brutal assault by the Shodillo. A6 mentioned that the Nanites are working; however there is so much data it’s going to take more time than originally expected. While A9 stood guard while A6 did the work it was designed for. A9 felt a bit of trepidation and feared they may be discovered……………….
