«Operation Unthinkable»
In this world The Great Patriotic War took a different path. Already in December 1942, the Red Army launched an attack on Berlin from the Seelow Heights. 2 years after the beginning of GPW Germany capitulated. But peace didn’t last long and in August 1943 another war started – Third World War, which continued for 10 years. In this universe British Empire was the very first country that used nuclear armament, by dropping two bombs on cities of Riga and Tallinn (the latter was not supposed to be destroyed, the plane took a strong hit from soviet AA guns and dropped it, instead of going to Leningrad), the Second – USSR ( detonated in Frankfurt am Main, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Munich) and Japanese Empire (the destruction of the American Navy at the Battle of Midway).
The current date is - 1993AD. Three years have passed since the collapse of the USSR. Ongoing (or should begin in the near future) conflicts: The Civil War in Yugoslavia; the Reunification of France and Germany; the Georgian-South Ossetian, Abkhazian, Adjarian Wars; the War of Tibet with Rajasthan, the United States of Central India and the Sultanate of Bengal; border conflicts of the Yangtze Confederation with the Empire of Japan, the Republic of China, the Federal Republic of Indochina, the State Myanmar, the Sultanate of Bengal, Tibet, Uighur, Mongolia; the war of the State of Sarawak, the Philippines and the Republic of Kalimantan; The war between Morocco and Polisario with Azawad.
Russia emerged victorious from the GPW and the TWW, but the price of such a victory was the death of almost 50 million people, the destruction of a large number of cities, economic weakness and, as a result, the collapse of the country in 1990. Literally by a miracle (namely 100 MGt nuclear strikes) was able not to lose its overseas territories. The first state in terms of territory size, but such large lands are inhabited by only 250 million people.
Germany, Finland, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Turkey, Poland are the absolute losers in Europe and the world. Those who survived the crucible of the Second and Third World Wars either fled from the wrath of Stalin, or slowly died, restoring and cleaning the infrastructure in the infected and contaminated territories. By the end of the 20th century, there were 7.1 million Germans alone.
France, Britain, Spain, Canada, the USA and other countries that joined the Alliance - Stalin did not coddle the losers and made them pay an ultimate price. They have lost a lot, like really a lot: only the USA has lost more than 5 million people since the beginning of the 40s and until the end of the 20th century. This number could have remained at the mark of 2 - 2.5 million, but before the collapse of the USSR, 100 MGT fell on Seattle and Portland, for each city.
The Japanese Empire controls almost the entire Pacific Ocean. Thanks to a timely peace treaty with the Soviet Union, she was able to get out of World War II with relatively few losses. Before the beginning of the All-Chinese Uprising in 1961, it owned almost all of China. During the uprising, the population of Manchukuo and Korea was used as cannon fodder, which is why the number of inhabitants of these regions decreased to 25% of the pre-war and Tokyo simply integrated them as ordinary prefectures, settling them with Japanese, and settling the locals throughout the Empire. The population is about 145 million people.
Kingdom of Persia – the country is still ruled by the Pahlavi dynasty. In return for a number of lost northern regions, it received a significant part of the territory of the former Iraq. The population was not against such an exchange, especially since these lands turned out to be rich in oil.
Great Uganda is one of the richest countries in Africa. The most famous non-Hollywood films are produced here, at the Ugawood venues.
The Cape State and the Free Republic of the Boers used to be one country, but the latter rebelled and, having winning a short war, formed their own country.
The Federal Republic of Central America, the Federal Republic of Cuba, the Bolivar Federation, the Republic of Amazonia – The Cuban Revolution was not limited to one region and spread widely to neighboring countries. Despite the support of the United States and allies, the revolutionaries were able to take power in all the above-mentioned regions and defeat foreign "mercenaries" and their local henchmen.

Великая Отечественная продвигалась по совсем другому пути. Уже в декабре 1942 года, Красная Армия начала атаку на Берлин с Зееловских высот. Через 2 года после начала ВОв Германия капитулировала. Однако мир не был долгим и уже в августе началась 3 мировая, которая продлилась 10 лет. Третья Великая война характеризовалась широким применением химического и биологического оружия. В этом мире, первыми атомное оружие использовали англичане, сбросив бомбы на Ригу и Таллин. Вторыми - СССР (Франкфурт-на-Майне,Мангейм,Штутгарт,Мюнхен) и Японская Империя (уничтожение американских ВМС при Битве за Мидуэй).
Время действия - 1993 год. Прошло 3 года с момента развала СССР. Действующие(либо должны начаться в ближайшем времени) конфликты: Гражданская Война в Югославии; Объединение Франции и Германии; Грузино-Южно Осетинская, Абхазская, Аджарская войны; Война Тибета с Раджастаном, Соединенными Штатами Центральной Индии и Султанатом Бенгала; приграничные конфликты Конфедерации Янцзы с Японской Империей, Китайской Республикой, Федеральной Республикой Индокитая, Государством Мьянмар, Султанатом Бенгала, Тибетом, Уйгурией, Монголией; война Государства Саравак, Филиппин и Республики Калимантан; Война между Марокко и Полисарио с Азавадом.
Главные отличия этой вселенной: невступление в войну на стороне Германии Италии и Румынии, а так же отсутствие Конфликта на Халхин Голе.

Россия - вышла победителем из ВОв и Третьей Мировой, однако цена такой победы - гибель почти 50 миллионов человек, разрушение большого количества городов, экономическая слабость и как следствие - развал страны в 1990 году. Буквально чудом (а именно 100МГт ядерными ударами) смогла не потерять свои заморские территории. Первое государство по размеру территории, но такие большие земли населяют всего лишь 250 миллионов человек.
Германия, Финляндия, Чехословакия, Дания, Турция, Польша – абсолютные проигравшие в Европе и Мире. Те кто выжил в горниле Второй и Третьей Мировых войн, либо бежали от гнева Сталина, либо медленно умирали, восстанавливая и очищая инфраструктуру на зараженных территориях. Одних только немцев к концу 20 века осталось 7,1 млн. человек.

Во время восстания в качестве пушечного мяса использовала население Маньчжоу-Го и Кореи, из-за чего число жителей этих регионов сократилось до 25% от довоенного и Токио попросту интегрировал их в качестве обычных префектур, заселив их японцами, а местных расселив по всей Империи. Население – около 145 млн. чел.
Королевство Персия – в стране до сих пор правит династия Пехлеви. Взамен ряда потерянных северных регионов получила значительную часть территории бывшего Ирака. Население не было против такого размена, тем более эти земли оказались богаты нефтью.
Великая Уганда – одно из самых богатых стран Африки. Самые знамениты неголливудские фильмы производятся здесь, на площадках Угавуда.
Государство Мыса и Свободная Республика Буров – раньше были одним государством, однако последние восстали и победив в короткой войне, образовали свою страну.
Федеральная Республика Центральной Америки, Федеральная Республика Куба, Боливарская Федерация, Республика Амазония – Кубинская Революция не ограничилась одним регионом и широко раскинулась на соседние страны. Не смотря на поддержку США и союзников, революционеры смогли взять власть во всех вышеназванных регионах и победить иностранных «наёмников» и их местных прихвостней.
