Description
Just like the First-one, the Second Great game is a rivalry between Russia (USSR) and British Empire over influence in Central Asia. The losses that USSR suffered since the end of the the First Civil war ignited fires of the Revanchism movement. After the years of rebuilding and preparations, on July 1, 1941 Stalin ordered his armies to execute the invasion of Turkestan:

- Operation Kaufmann - soviet naval invasion, commander - General Dovator. From the ports of Transcaucasian SFSR marines managed to cut off Turkestan from sea and advance towards Ashkhabad;

- Operation Skobelev - main soviet land invasion, commander - General Rokossovskiy. Capturing cities of Bukhara and Turkmenabad Red Army encircled 50 thousand British soldiers including 3 generals: Wavel, Abraham, Carton de Wiart;

- Operation Kolpakovskiy - soviet invasion of Afganistan. After taking Turkestan under it's full control, the Red Army invaded Afganistan, seizing cities of Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif and cutting Kabul from the south regions. Unfortunately with german invasion of Soviet Union this operation took longer than it was expected.
