Decided to put my Dread Pirate's crew together, Gokai Gray and Gold are characters of a friend of mine, Gokai Neptune belongs to my friend [link] , Gokai Black is of course my character, and the Gokai Purple is meant to be my friend Rayne because she is a huge Power Ranger fangirl. She sadly knows next to nothing about Super Sentai lol, but I include her in my crew anyway.DO NOT use without my explicit permission first

U know it's funny that I'm seeing this bcuz I also had a Gokai Black persona in mind for my series of Gokaiger fan fics I'll eventually make. Mine, however, is just a redo ofΒ Marvelous's suit but in reverse colors, if that makes any sense.

lol true, but when is the last time I have actually seen Vice work on a character? I picture more as the type to sit behind you and go "I think you should make a gold one too cause I would be a gold ranger." lol I'm joking of course.

An eye patch eh? Sounds very Piratey, would prolly make an interesting design choice. You ought to draw it up or if you want I can send you the templates I did while making my Gokaiger micros and you can try to micro it.

Personally I prefer mine, mostly because I made him lol.
My design is mostly based on my other Sentai characters, when I make my OCs and teams I tend to link together Super Sentai and Power Rangers into a sort of hybrid universe.
I don't do it for every series my Dairanger for example is called a Dairanger and not a Might Morphin' Thunder Ranger mostly because I don't want to have to say it over and over, my Jungle Fury Ranger is called a GekiRanger because I just prefer that series lol. I really ought to get around to posting my full set of rangers at some point.
I started them as a Forever Teal lineup but at one point I decided that Teal didn't look good for ever suit so I started to use Silver, Black and White for them too.
At any rate, my design for Gokai Black was something I came up with while oddly enough watching Princess Bride, which explains his little morphing speech [link] I know it is just him being called the "Dread Pirate" but I like to have it in there lol.
Anyway...I'm rambling.

I like your thoughts on it and I respect your choices. (I agree that Gekiranger sounds cooler than Jungle Fury)
I was thinking that another crew was searching for the Ranger Keys and and the Greatest treasure in the universe making them Rivals to the Red Pirate Gang. and gained the Bangai Hero Keys and the 6th Ranger Keys. the crew was four members, pertaining to the colors used in previous sentais: White, Black, Gold and Purple (even if only one exists) they were attacked by Zangyack forces and Basco, taking all their keys, but their main keys were hidden as were their Mobirates. afterward, they find that the Greatest Treasure is on Earth, where the Gokaigers are. their captain, the Unnamed (at this time) Gokai Gold, asks for an alliance between his crew and the Gokaigers.

Sounds like a cool idea, I really wonder though how would they have gotten their powers. Gai gets his from ghosts basically and I have to figure that the Zangyack gave Basco the trumpet thing as reward for turning in Akared and Marvelous. Though how the Zangyack made it I don't know, maybe they backward engineered it from Basco's red Mobirate thing that doesn't seem to transform him like the Galleon crew can.
My crew I hadn't really planned a reason for how they get their Mobirates either lol most likely I would have them given to them by the former OC rangers I've done before.

that IS a conundrum, but after they explained how the belt buckles work for the ranger keys, I bet toei will tell us.
I also thought their ship could separate into four separate megazords, (just another crazy idea)

I was thinking the Mecha for my gokai-black would be a smaller ship than the Galleon but create its own Megazord with other smaller Mecha becoming accessories for it.

I'm trying to design a character to serve as the 6th ranger for my crew but...I suck at female designs lol especially for ranger suit, they tend to take me forever.
I'm not sure for her color yet and the person I have in mind for her to be based on would normally use purple for her characters but since I already used purple for my friend I am not sure what to go with this time around lol.

My apologies, there's a deviant with a similar name that escaped me at the time, her name is LavenderRanger. she apparently does the "missing rangers" meaning the ranger colors that DIDN'T appear in the past series. Lavender color obviously is her favorite
