Mind you I have been watching the old Justice League Universe series - espically liked their version of Cheetah. And her encounter with Batman.
I just haven't quite gotten a good handle on how to stage an original take on the brainy research scientist going feral feline quite yet.

Correct I think the episode title was Injustice for All.
She doesn't get much of a speaking role, just a few lines with Batman about research grants, and trying to protest her innocence befor the Joker shocks her. Open question if she was killed when given to Grundy.

In the original show "bible" it was infered that if Barbara had surrived the Joker's joy buzzer, she was killed off camera by Grundy. (Think Elmira - from Animaniacs)
The Cheetah that shows up later was supposed to be a successor, but they accidentally gave her the same appearance. Rather than try and explain the error, they just hand waived it off and said she somehow surrived and was willing to work for him again.
