ce pot spune,desprins din banalul cotidina in care traiesc .... tare este photografia realizata,nu neaparat ceea ce se vede-n ea (cel putin pentru mine , nu-i asa de important ...vad chestiilea astea daca-mi deschid geamul ca sa respir ... aerul jegos de bucuresti)

I hate it and I love it .... you captured the spirit of communistic style with such great power ! It's sad and monumental, dusty and beautiful... there was a time when I thought that these bulidings should be burried, now I know that someday they will look as strange and mysterious for people, like old castles and abandoned antic palaces for us now...this picture says so much in a simple way ..

well as a matter of fact soon more than half of the flats inside blocks like this will have double-glazing windows with pvc thermal insulating frames and air conditioning, drywall-made interiors with suspended ceilings and spotlights, plasma tvs or lcds internet and even sorts of intranet

beautiful shot, i lived in a building very similar in the czech republic... they most likely looked nice when built but fall apart within a decade...i love the archaic mood you've used in this picture.

yes, I imagine that Czech Republic is also full of this kind of buildings...smae things are available for the buildings in Romania too

I almost forgot Romania had been a member of the USSR! This building looks so gloomy and deserted... just like the soviet's communist dream, I guess.

Most communist buildings here are in quite good shape (but still they look architecturally horrible) i live in one even not that old but we are waiting when it is going to collapse

there might be a series - I still have a few photos similar to this, taken that day, on that weather(it helped a lot, light was amazing). The idea is that Bucharest, Romania actualy is full of buildings like this one, blocks of flats.

prin editare ce intelegi?...i-am dat doar contrast din levels in photoshop..in rest, a fost alb-negru de la inceput.,...si am folosit o lentila superangulara

Prin editare inteleg pur si simplu folosirea PS pentru a modifica vizibil ceva la o imagine (contrast, saturatie , softness , sharpness, alterarea culorilor, adaugarea unui filtru fotografic si alte chestii care le poti face in PS pentru a face o imagine mai interesanta, impactanta, pentru a schimba atmosfera reala din fotografie) . Desigur ma limitez doar la fotografia digitala
