Description This is a little concept I've been working on in the past couple of weeks.

Through the medium known in alternative history circles as Alien Space Bats, locations from different worlds are duplicated and set into a flat world alongside each other. Some places have bits of virgin territory added on due to the issue of coastal demarcation.

You'll notice some places have clear borders within while others do not; the latter does not necessarily mean there are no civilisations there.

The different colours in the ocean region denote the climatic conditions. The dark strip indicates the equator and the warmest waters, the lighter blue denotes polar regions that ice over during the winter and white shows the permanent ice caps.

Ideas for the kinds of lands duplicated come from the works of Eric Flint, SM Stirling, JRR Tolkien, Lauren Faust (possibly), Jonathan Swift and WV Awdry with other parts taken from the world as it was in 1914, 61 and sometime close to the time of this 'publication'.

This is the alpha version as I had wanted to add more locations since there's an apparent gap within a couple of hemispheres and very little terrain crosses the equator, which could be an issue in terms of conveying ocean currents and the corresponding weather systems.
