I like to believe in possibilities. My coffee table is a trunk my father had in the army. Blending the old with new gives it character. I keep old papers in a copper tub myΒ great grandmother used to boil clothes.
They've had their picture taken many times when the light is shining on that side of the house. They add interest and texture.

My son has been told what I hope he'll save for future generations that were mine. He does have permission to get rid of a Victorian bureau my mother left. The thing is gigantic and I need a ladder to polish it. lol.Maybe he can find it a huge home. or a maid. It took 4 huge men to move it.
