Frankly, I think the phoenix would look better on the pyro, it even makes sense.

Note: "Theory" in that title, besides, being someone who used to make (and fail) 3D models, it is clear that most modelists don't really pay that much attention to detail when making a gendered figure. Infact, one rule my Tutor told me is that a 3D model doesn't have a gender. Besides, the sexual orientation of a character (unless proven by the game creators) always seems to be mainly Fan created, for preference, mockery or... "other" preference. As said below, his gender is unspecified, that suit may never come off. And we will never know.
