Are they very hard to keep? I've been thinking and thinking about getting one.

It can be hard at first. Frogs are very easy to stress out. A new environment is rough on them. But once they are acclimated, they are fairly easy to keep. Just keep in mind humidity and UV light.

Hm. I see. I didn't think they needed the uv since they are noctournal.

Yeah during the day. Helps them metabolize calcium...so they can get bigger.

Oh. Interesting. Do you use it on your geckos too? I know some people that do and some that don't.

Some of them I do. My day geckos I don't bother because they hide all the time as it is. They never see any day light...they're strange though. My crested and uroplatus I use UV on. The crested had some problems with MBD in the past so I increased the UV and got great results.

*nods* Yeah, that would suck. :\ I wonder how much UV light filtered light produces.
