Description
This is years old, from 2003? And then a redraw of an earlier page from maybe the late 90s. Anyway, the idea predates the different color Lantern rings that are still developing in the Green Lantern comics by Geoff Johns, but the idea for this was different.I used to drive down to Nashville on a regular basis when living in south central Kentucky, and would always pass a sign for a restaurant called the Red Lantern. I pitched this to the Green Lantern guy at DC2 before the site even got going but I don't think he liked it. We could have done it first! lol.

Aren't they called party houses down south? It's a place you hold wedding receptions and other big parties. A big room you eat and dance in. You know!
Don't you?

Ah okay. They mostly have reception halls or places that can be rented out. Just didn't really know the term party house. Hey, it's just really more West than South. Don't go getting me confused with the hicks.
