Fun Fact time!
* Keymen collected those instruments (along with a ton of the other weird stuff in his house) during his travels
* Except for the harp, stringed instruments are not a thing in the Serpent Nation, Keymen is the only one who has them
* Keymen's instruments are inspired by the instruments my dad plays-- he plays all of them! Except Keymen can also do different winded instruments too like flute, etc <3
We'll learn more about that crazy map thing Hizzy is lookin' at in the 4th to last panel...LATER hehe :3

That or tracking someone or somethings movements. And totes wouldnt have known stringed instruments werent really a thing in the serpent nation. this is why im glad i read the descriptions X)

For some reason, Keymen looks older than he really is in the last panel. How old is he anyways?
Speaking as someone who majored in Biology and is currently taking up Medicine, I'd say all those 'weird stuff' Keymen have are a common sight at any freelance scientist's house.
And also, I believe that isn't a harp. It's a mandolin.
I also love the fact that almost no one beats around the bush and just say things straight up. (Read: Keymen in the last panel and Nisha in a veeeeery previous page.) If this was in literature (or at least, if it were me writing Serpent of New), there would be a lot of introductory speeches and nonsense exchanges.
Speaking of which, I'll just have to finish a couple of stories in Wattpad and I'll be able to finally work on Serpent of New... which I'm actually considering to change the title either a bit or change it entirely. While I'm already telling you this, how does the title "Light From the Serpents' Forest" sound?

Yes, there are a lot of straight shooters in this comic! There is a time to beat around the bush, and a time to be a straightshooter. With Hizruk, straight shootin is really the only way he understands XD
