Lovely portrait, she looks very relaxed and natural. I'm sure you've done her justice. I think it does us all good to get back to basics, unfortunately I was never taught any!

The image, and the model are most beautiful. This is a wonderful portrait of your Sister, and one which both of you can be very proud. Her expression is natural and totally at ease. Very, very well done!

Pinching her? Oh my... If I was to try that with the models I work with, I can't even begin to imagine what would happen!

Might I queiry as to why you're "back to the basics"?

Like a warm embrace.

Wow, what strikes me first is the intense glare and shine in her eyes. It burns though, its kind, understanding and not a judge at all.
Then what strikes me is how old she looks. If I remember correctly she's younger than you, right?
Therefore I think the lighting is very cruel to her, it shows every wrinkle, bump and crevices on her skin and it ages her incredibly. Sheβs still looking incredibly beautiful though, and Iβm happy you didnβt crop off her left shoulder; it creates an illusion of nudity that I know many people appreciate. (me included)
This is vintage, this is classic. I love it.

Thanks a lot for your thoughtful comment
She's almost 16... i have no idea how old she looks here.
and i kind of like how realistic her skin looks. I'm loving the little details.
thanks again

Honestly, to me she looks like she could be +28. ( I hope she don't take that as an insult! )

You captured very well the playful and inviting glance of the model.
Excellent tones and texture.

Hey, I was just thinking today what ever happened to Hesitation! Good thing you submitted again, I was beginning to worry
I like the basics, it seems to suit your style very well. IT's looks so natural, but not candid. The model, the lighting, it's all very well done.

natural light is always the best lighting. I like the tilt of her head and the tones. Very nice.

wow!
I am loving this!
I love the tones and the great atmosphere!!!
If you cropped off a bit more of her left, I think the composition would be stronger

actually you might be right
i'll try it, thanks
