a portrait shoot in a crazy abandoned house that must be about 100 years old.When I saw the wallpaper and the model's shirt i nearly fainted. I love it!

This looks almost exactly like the scene from the japanese movie "Ringu" (translated as Ring) from 1998. Try to find it, maybe you'll get some more great ideas

This is a really intense shot. I am tripping about the juxtaposition of the far off expression of the side of her face to the staring you in the eyes expression in the mirror.

No? It's pretty good. Most of the time when americans remake foreign films, the original film is far superior. However, the Ring is one of the few occasions when the american remake is actually better. I also liked the american remake of Insomnia better than the original.

what's most lovely about this for me is the composition - the profile on the right and the facial shot from the reflective mirror on the left - the nose going over the edge of the mirror in the profile - good for you Hesi b/c its hard to keep this composition well with so much going on with the patterns and all and you did it

i was having a bit of trouble with composition actually. becuase there was so much crap inside the house it was hard to compose the shot without all the stuff in the frame. I eventually ended up trying to make the stuff part of the shot hehe it was fun.

Very lovely image... What I like best is the way you chose to compose the portrait. You set it up so that the viewer can see the model's profile, as well as her face at the same time. Very nicely seen...

Those old houses are the best for pictures.
I had the chance to visit a couple lately and I too .. took pics. And the outcome is always nice.
And I agree.. the blouse of the model and that wallpaper is amazing.
Freaky....
And that mirror .. is just the right height too.
For some reason .. this reminds of a cameo.
