Description
I was going to make it a three pane submission like the other "studies" but then I realized all the other shots just distracted from this one and looked bad in comparison so... i change my mind about it.i AM hesitation after all.

I like the direct eye contact. It sort of grabs you from the get-go. Nice - unsual - pose with the hands adds character. The lighthing seems very balanced and the tones are pleasing. What's not to like.

I love how his fingers are kind of following the curve of his mouth - you don't know if he's giving you a little devious grin or if his fingers are just pushing against his skin to make it look that way. Mystery. Good thing.

This is one of the best portraits I've seen in a while. I love the shadowing and how the eye still stands out... You've captured a perfect expression, and somehow, you've kept an otherwise serious and intense feel captivating and charming, instead.

I must admit I'm always very nervous when it comes to seeing portraits of me, which doesn't happen too often anyways. But I'm very happy with that one. I like it a lot.
