I've been really obsessed with Hellsing the past little while - I don't know where it came from, but its here and its here to stay
So have some Alucard!! -- Also, this is really bad quality because I stole it from my Instagram....SO its a little crusty until I can scan a nicer copy :3

i love it when an artist gets alucard hellsing right. and this is one of those examples
its my own preference of-course, but i get a cringe when i see fanarts of alucard hellsing drawn as a semi-bishonen man candy because to me alucard isnt that at all. i know its just a "FAN" art, but alucard is one scary motherf*&$er and i only see him as a boogyman-like monster. especially his austere eyes

Alucard is very difficult to draw - I feel like it's because, he has actual features. Like he has a long nose and lines on his face that other characters just dont have. Does that make sense?

umm, I've been drawing anime for probably 15 years? I've been trying to drawing in a more semi realistic style lately, and I try to change things up and find new ways to draw that work for me

thats good. i also recommend drawing from real live for realism and pixar style for more variety of character designs
