Art-trade with and her awesome characters Kyo and ShiratoruWe decided to do this art-trade in... March, I think/// But because of so busy graphic I could draw only now ;__; Oh yeah, artists are so fast XDDDD
Firstly, I planned to draw these wonderful charas eating apples under the tree + background with chinese buildings))) But then I SUDDENLY SAW THIS WONDERFUL CHINESE PEACOCKS while I was searching Eastern pictures. I was SOOO INSPIRED by them, so I made my mind to draw a picture with such composition.
If I tell you I wasn't afraid of drawing peacocks' tails, I will be a liar. BECAUSE I WAS SO FREAKING MUCH AFRAID OF IT!!! >__<
Spending a lot of hours with drawing and coloring, I'm glad how it turned out!
Uhhhhh, Kandasama's charas are SOO ADORABLE, I couldn't choose only two of them ;__; I also wanted to draw Mei SOO MUCH *poor Mei*

~ Oh....wow! Wow! Hetiru, this is so incredibly amazing! Those Chinese peacocks turned out so gorgeous with their many elegant layers of tail feathers - the textures and colors are all so beautifully done! And there's so many spectacular details everywhere - it's all just so beautiful! The composition, the characters, the colors, everything is so amazing! I just can't find the words to express how happy and inspired this artwork makes me feel! So much beauty everywhere!

The feathers' colours remind of the changes in the sky throughout the day, and the children somewhat had me thinking of a sun and moon couple? Anyways this is lovely 💐

I had a lot of fun drawing your wonderful characs! They both guys (recently I was drawing girls A LOT), and their colors are like sooo relaxing! I didn't rush myself with mixing colors of clothes, because it's already fit perfectly to each other! **
And even peacocks tails with their blue, yellow and red colors fit the main characters - I'm so happy!
Actually Shira isn't blushing XDDDD I've junt added too much orange to his cheeks I think XDD

That... that is sooo awesome and detailed! And I love the glance interaction between the two characters, they are totally adorable ^^ The colors are chosen well, a bit plain for the main two in contrast with te detailedness of the birds. Though I'm still trying to find out what those three petals doing near the right brds neck XD Gives the illusion as if the bird actually wants to present those petals and holds them (no insult meant, just a note). Overall, it's really pleasing to the eye. Though with the peacocks it's hard to distinguish the bird on the right character. Moreover, that bird is in the very center which automatically turns the eye away from it. Is it how it is supposed to be? The colors leave me totally almost speechless, I want to look again and iagain at this work, so Bravo and thanks a lot for this wonderful work, Hetiru!

Actually there is no... special story line I think XDDD You're the second person who asked me about why this female peacock is sitting on the Shiratoru's shoulder like it is hiding from these two male peacocks. Nope, there is no idea - it's just an art ='DDDDDDD
