I would think he would be flattered to see good fanart like this, espiecally to something he is heading himself. I seriously looked bewtween the trailer piece and yours and damn, it's hard to tell a difference in style.

I-it's alright but.....well I get nervous when i show people who are better than me with my art. It makes me feel a little under classed. It's just how I am. Like for example, what if the details are wrong and he gets a little aggravated about it, (I'm that nervous about showing people my art work). That's why I always wonder if I get the details right. Like I said, I always want to make sure my art work is perfect.

Tell me about it... to be honest, the reason why it takes so long for me to post my original story is because of your fears: I send my drafts to a beta-reader who points out what I have done wrong, and well, I get kinda queasy about it. I tend not to read the edits in full right when I given them, and when I finally do, it takes me awhile to redo everything. In a sense, I just as much a perfectionist in literature as you are in drawing. But in the end, I get a better piece than my original.
And if you really want to make me puke, try sending my incomplete story to the girls of CLAMP or Miyazaki. that would kill me.

No you didn't offend me at all. It's alright. I think the one thing that would make faint is if he faved it and left a comment. Then I would definitely feel nervous. But that wont happen, since he's probably too busy.
